Bishop Eugaston M. Davis Jr.
Eugaston Merrick Davis Jr. was born to Eugaston M. Davis Sr. and Ella Ruth Davis. Born into a family of preachers Eugaston always believed that he would never grow up and become a preacher like is father.
At the age of five Joon (which he is called by his family and friends) began playing the drums along side his mother who played the organ, and his father which played the guitar. In 1990 God anointed his hands and he began to skillfully play the keyboard and organ. By the time he reached twenty-three he had already written forty or more songs. He played for several groups and choirs. There was no doubt that the spirit of David and Elisha rested on him.
In March 2000 God called Joon into ministry at first he was hesitant but he believed that obeying God would be better that sacrificing whatever God had in store for him. After finishing his bible correspondence course he was ordained a minister in New Hope Apostolic Church.
Minister Davis began working diligently in the church and often asked to fill in for his father when he went out of town. Once again the Lord elevated Minister Davis to Elder in April 2003. He was then installed as Assistant Pastor of New Hope Apostolic Church October 12th 2003.
Elder Davis Continued his education with World Harvest Bible Institute. While serving as Assistant Pastor in Early 2006 God gave Elder Davis a vision concerning a new Ministry in North Carolina called New and Living Way Christian Center where he and his wife would become Pastor & Co-Pastor.
On October 8th, 2006 Elder Davis was installed as the New Senior Pastor of New Hope Apostolic Church and then Consecrated as Bishop in the Lords Church on July 15th 2012.
God has still placed a humble spirit and the true love of God in Bishop Davis. Bishop Davis is the Presiding Prelate of Living Hope International Christian Fellowship Assemblies With Churches in NY, North Carolina and Connecticut. He has focused on the people and not the position. His famous quote “If you take care of Gods business, he will take care of yours”. Bishop Davis always tells the church just because you are a small church does not mean that you can not do Mega things. Bishop Davis is truly a Visionary.
CoPastor Shalanda Davis was born to Pastor Donald Stewart & Minister Velma Stewart. At a very young age God placed some special gifts in her life. She began singing at the age of three years old, being called on to sing in many different forums. She also started writing poetry and her own songs at seven. Lady Davis accepted the lord Jesus Christ as her savior at the age of 12, where she was attending a COGIC UNAC conference in which the late Reverend James Moore spoke a word of couragement in her life. After going through many of life’s rough battles Lady Davis decided to come back to God and rededicate her life to Christ. In March of 1995 she was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost. On September 15th, 1995 she married the love of her life Pastor E.M. Davis Jr. (Joon).
In 2003 she knew that singing was just a small part of the ministry that God wanted her to do. She attended World Wide Bible Institute and completed a Bible Correspondence course given by Bishop E.M. Davis Sr. After much chastisement from God Lady Davis finally answered God’s call and was ordained Evangelist October 5th, 2008. She was then elevated on February 26th, 2017 to Elder and the Copastor of New Hope Apostolic Church of Christ. Her greatest passion has been working along side her husband in ministry. She is the Visionary of Hannah Girl's Ministries which empowers women around the globe. She is a Children's book Author and the proud mother of two boys Eric and Jedaiah.
